Privacy Policy Florida MVR Services, Inc. collects no personally identifiable information from visitors to its website other than normal access logging. Once a visitor has applied for access as a registered customer, the information is stored and treated as confidential information with the same protections as the private information collected on the subjects of our reports. Customer and subject information is never disclosed to any third party except as required by law. Internet Logging All submission of information to our website and all retrieval of reports from our website is accomplished with a secure web connection (HTTPS). Access to the secure connection for ordering and retrieving of records is limited to qualified registered users who must authenticate with the use of a login name and password pair which is also transmitted securely. Physical Access Our servers are located on our premises with access restricted to authorized personnel only. All data leaving our premises for offsite backup and disaster recovery is encrypted with a 128-bit cipher. All media and paper documents are handled according to a strict security policy. Internet Access Our network is protected with a hardware firewall, and is tested periodically by an independent internet security company which employs a Certified Internet Security Manager (CISM). The duties of the CISM include performing security checks and suggesting changes to make in hardware and software to insure continued security for our network. Third Parties Florida MVR Services, Inc. provides reports only to it’s registered customers who have qualified themselves as having permissible purpose for ordering the reports and who have agreed to keep the information confidential. No disclosure is made to any other third party except as required by law or court order.
