A driving record, also called a motor vehicle record (MVR), is an official document that summarizes a person’s driving history.
How quickly can I get a driving record?
Most records are available instantly online, while Oregon records are batch processed. Florida records are typically returned within 10 to 15 seconds.
What information is included?
An MVR typically includes the driver’s name, physical description, license information, and any infractions, restrictions, and suspensions on file.
Which states do you cover?
We provide driving records for all states except California, Hawaii, and Pennsylvania. In Florida, we also provide Vehicle records, Driver License and Insurance Verifications, and FDLE Criminal History.
Who can order driving records?
Approved employers, insurers, counsel, investigators, government agencies, and other qualified businesses may order records for an applicable permissible purpose. The legal requirements depend on the record and its use; customer certification and the subject’s authorization may be required. Individuals can order their own Florida driving record through our personal-record service.
How much do reports cost?

Do you keep my reports?
Reports remain available in your online account according to the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.
How do I correct information on a Florida driving or vehicle record?
Florida MVR Services, Inc. is a private company, not a Florida state agency or FLHSMV. We provide access to records but cannot change the information maintained in Florida’s official driver or motor-vehicle records.
If you believe information in your Florida driver record is incorrect, contact FLHSMV directly at 850-617-2000 for a record review. Some matters, including court-reported citations or convictions, must be resolved with the reporting court.
