How to Order
Ordering your own Florida driving record is quick and clear. Here is what you need and what to expect.
Before you start
- You are the Florida license holder, ordering your own record.
- You have an email address you can check — you will confirm it and use it to retrieve your report.
- You have a government photo ID to upload and can take a selfie (a webcam if you are on a computer).
- You have a credit card in your own name. The name on the card must match your name.
- You have your Florida driver license number. If you do not know it, you can use your name and date of birth instead.
Step by step
- Register. Sign up with your email and click the link we send to confirm it.
- Enter your details. Provide your name, date of birth, and contact info, and choose a 3-year, 7-year, or complete record. See Types of Records if you are not sure which one to order.
- Add your ID and selfie. Upload a photo of your ID and take a quick selfie so we can match them up.
- Sign and pay. Sign your authorization right on the screen and pay the $30 total.
- Get your record. After our staff reviews your order, we place it and email you a secure link to retrieve your report. You can also log back in anytime to check your status.
How long does it take?
For your security, our staff reviews your ID, selfie, and details before your order is placed. Reviews are usually done within one business day, often sooner. Once our review is complete, we place your order and email you a link to retrieve your report.
What it costs
Every record type is $30: a $26 record fee plus a $4 processing fee. If we cannot verify your information or FLHSMV cannot return your record, we refund the $26 record fee and keep the $4 processing fee.
Florida MVR Services, Inc. is a private company, not a government office. You are always free to order a record from FLHSMV instead.
